Via this initial offer, nothing!  You can access the Zumata inventory through your existing DHISCO connection.  There is nothing to pay to gain access.

What is required to integrate the Zumata inventory?

It’s extremely easy!  The only work required by you is mapping of hotels to your internal database.  Everything else is handled by DHISCO and Zumata.

Is the inventory from Zumata available via Cache or PUSH?

The rates and inventory pulled from Zumata should be live requests. Cache building, pre-fetching, and other queries that are not user generated, are not supported.

How quickly can I get access to the inventory?

Within days.  It’s super simple.

I already have a lot of inventory, why should I take the Zumata inventory?

The main reason companies stop accepting more inventory is because of the complexities of integration.  Each additional integration poses technical challenges, maintenance challenges, and updating challenges.

Where does Zumata get its inventory?

Zumata’s inventory comes from over sixty 3rd party suppliers.  These suppliers are bedbanks, tour operators, DMCs, and vacation rental providers.   The benefit is that many of their supply partners are specialists in a particular region.  These are players you are unlikely to connect with, but they have excellent rates in their regions due to the volumes they drive.

What is included in the Zumata inventory?

Zumata’s inventory is a mixture of hotels, motels, apartments, condos, and other vacation rental properties.   The inventory comes complete with supporting content such as images, descriptions, property details, and is available in all languages that DHISCO supports.

What sort of static content is available to support the Zumata inventory?

Many elements of static data and supporting information are available. This includes, but is not limited to: property name, address, phone number, nearest airport, amenity information, property descriptions, images, and all languages DHISCO supports.

What types of rates are available?

Zumata also offers net or commissionable rates.  Zumata has access to stand-alone rates, package rates, mobile rates, and closed user group/opaque rates.  Some of these will require additional approval from the underlying supplier, but they can all be accessed via the same connection you already have in place with DHISCO.

Are rates pre-paid or post-paid?

At the moment, all rates are pre-paid.

If I have existing 3rd party inventory, can I route this through the DHISCO API?

Yes.  Zumata can pass through your DHISCO connection both your existing contracted rates as well as Zumata contracted rates.  With the help of Zumata, you can offload the heavy resource burden of mapping, deduplication, price comparisons, content updating, and even new supplier connectivity.
